Only Tampa has scored more goals.

Sens are a fun team to follow.

Sens are just too young and green to play a strong defensive game in their own end.

Scoring goals is the hardest challenge for any NHL player. You cannot teach a goal scoring skill. You can help a player refine his skill set but raw instincts and goal scoring skill are natural as opposed to taught.

Players can be taught defensive skills and to play a defensive system. But, if you have a young team with a coach like Boucher it can become problematic. Have you noticed how much better Ottawa plays when they are behind. They ease up on their defensive priorities and go on the attack.

Don't worry about winning or goals against this year. Let these guys score goals.

Maybe the Sens need to trash talk to coaches more often.

Loved the push back last night. White and Tkachuck are looking good and continue to improve.

Team is still learning to play defense as evidenced by the lapses last night. But their mostly young so that can be addressed as time goes on.

We are looking a lot at our rookies but must also give a big compliment to Dzingel, who really upped his game this season.

Shacks, I take issue with your statement about Sens goaltending. Anderson has been our best player game in and game out. He's averaging like 73 saves a game! Lol

On another note; am I the only one who thinks B Ry looks like a totally different player this year? He must have taken some skating lessons with Duchene this off season. And he's not just skating better. His overall game seems elevated. I'm not saying he's ever gonna be a 30 goal scorer again, but he looks pretty damned good. There's been several times where he makes a move, and I have to look twice at my TV. "Wait! That was Bobby!?"

Bobby has his moments, but he's been like that every year. Every time he gets on a roll, he gets injured and then has a tough time getting back to full health. I don't blame the guy for his injuries, it's just the truth.

I don’t care what anyone says.....borowiecki is the worst dman in the league. The only thing he did well was fight, and he doesn’t even do that anymore.

Ceci is awful.......boro is worse.

I have not seen a report on Harpur injury. I know he is doing some rehab skating. Wolanin is putting up points in Belleville but not sure of his defensive play. Bernard-Docker is getting rave reviews for his play at North Dakota. He might make the step up next year.

Jaros looks okay. Lavoie is playing well but still does not have the upper body strength to handle guys down low in his own end. Chabot is Chabot.

I think they just have to keep giving the kids all the ice time they need to grow their games. At least two of Ceci, Borowiecki, Wideman or Demelo will not return next year. Wish they had a solid physical Dman (like Methot) to establish a presence in front of their own net.
